Madison De La Garza's Directorial Debut Sara Sarita Features Michael Madsen

We are pleased to share news about another upcoming project featuring a memorable performance by the late Michael Madsen: the new horror film Sara Sarita.

This movie marks the directorial debut of actor Madison De La Garza, known for her television work on shows like Desperate Housewives. The production has officially wrapped filming and is now moving into the post-production stage.

Sara Sarita draws inspiration from Mexican folklore, centering on a young woman at Camp Marigold who uncovers a sinister family secret—a direct connection to an ancient, malevolent entity referred to as "the daughter of the devil."

The film also stars Spencer Breslin, Michael Pare, and Kaili Thorne. Co-written, co-directed, and produced by Kate Queen, this feature is currently slated for release in late 2026. This marks one of the final cinematic appearances of our friend and colleague, Michael Madsen.
